Judith Mildred Thornton, 75, passed away Tuesday, February, 2, 2021.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruby McDonald, three sisters, Doris Shipp, Helen Burns, Vera Cummins, two brothers, Harry and Danny, her husband, Joseph Thornton.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Janet Hayes (Jerry), Jeff Thornton (Tracy), James Thornton (Jennifer); grandchildren, Jennifer Thornton (Noah Baldwin), Rebecca Thornton, Theodore Calvert Jr (Rebecca), Kristen Calvert and Courtney Calvert(Charles), Anthony Coons, Chandler Thornton, James Thornton Jr; great grandchildren, Amanda, Lindsey, Mindy, Jasper Calvert, Gina Nichter, Kaylie Coons; and one brother, George McDonald.

The Funeral Service is Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation Wednesday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations in Judy’s honor should be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
