Judy Carol McDaniel

Judy Carol McDaniel, 72, passed away peacefully and entered her heavenly home on Saturday, October 9, 2021. She was an active member of Eastside Praise Church of God for 28 years. She played the piano and served in many other areas of ministry. Judy had a wonderful spirit of generosity, and truly loved serving others. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She had a heart for hospitality and enjoyed planning parties and gatherings for everyone she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orvan and Janice Popplewell.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 55 years, Thomas McDaniel; children, Marty Thomas McDaniel (Janet), Jody Kent McDaniel (Blaire), Bethany Dawn Rayhill (Clint); grandchildren, Gregory, Evan, Morgan, Mallory, Landon, Silas, Stella; siblings, Robbie Popplewell (Janet), Deborah Skidmore (Harold), Danny Popplewell (Genie); sister-in-law, Maxine Edwards (Bill); and many loving extended family and forever friends.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Eastside Praise Church of God, 6300 Billtown Rd. Louisville, KY 40299. Visitation is at church on Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Saturday 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will be private.
