Julia was born on July 22, 1925, in Owen County, KY. She graduated from Owenton High School in 1944, and from Bryant and Stratton business college in 1945. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Jenner Company for 30 years. Julia was a member of the Highland Baptist Church for over 60 years, and was a former member of the Silver Notes.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie F. And Tina Bourne, her Husband of 23 years, Harold Rullman, her 2 brothers, John Russell Bourne and Willie Ray Bourne.
Julia is survived by her two sisters, Mary Kolbrook and Libby Webster. She is also survived by other extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12PM – 2PM on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Arch L. Heady and Son at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218. A funeral service will be conducted at 2PM in the Funeral Home chapel immediately following Visitation. Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
