She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Alan Douglas; a daughter, Kimberli Douglas; step-sons, Shawn Douglas (Phoebe) and Donovan Douglas; siblings, Ronnie Richards, Sue Wermeister, Beverly Brown, and Mark Richards; and a grandchild, Brenan.
Julie’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 770 Dixie Hwy, followed by cremation. Visitation will be from 3-8 pm Tuesday and after 12:00 Wednesday.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Center for Women and Families.
