She was the beloved wife of the late Dil Bhadur Pradhan, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage marked by faith, warmth, and enduring devotion.
Born in Kalimpong, India, on January 1, 1941, she brought light and comfort to all who knew her. She made her home in Louisville, Kentucky, where she became a long-time and devoted member of Bethel Prayer House Church. Her unwavering faith, generous spirit, and boundless love left an indelible mark on countless lives. She received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior in 2012, and from that moment on, she
walked faithfully with Him. “Jesus is my everything, and it is because of Him that I am here,” she often said—her life a living testimony of the peace and joy she found in Him.
A nurturer at heart, she was known for her hospitality, her giving nature, and the gentle warmth she brought into every room. Even as her health declined, her compassion and care never waned. One of her favorite sayings was, “Aaj zinda hai toh kal marne havay” (“If I am alive today, then I will die tomorrow”)—a quiet reminder to live each day with gratitude and grace.
She had a special gift for sharing wisdom and offering heartfelt counsel, especially to the younger generation. Her legacy is one of quiet strength, enduring faith, and deep affection.
She is survived by her loving nephew, Basan Pradhan, his wife, Susana Gurung, and their
newborn son, David Pradhan, who carry her light forward.
She has now returned to the arms of her Savior—where there is no more pain, only eternal
peace. Though she is gone from our sight, the warmth of her spirit remains with all who
were blessed to know her.
