Although, I never had the Honor of having met Mr. Karl Schmidt, I can undoubtedly say without any reservation what so ever that I do know the large void and overwhelming sadness it has brought to your family as I too lost my Father after having him return safely home from two tours in Korea and three tours in Vietnam and it is my hope that your family can feel some comfort with the thought that he is now wondering through "The KINGDOM of GOD" and has all the answers to any & all the questions he ever had in life, as well as knowing a peace that we here on earth can only dream of. My thoughts and prayers are with all of your family. R.I.P. Karl

R.I.p. KARL, you will be sadly missed by all your family and friends. You were a great step father with a big heart. You will always have a special place in my heart because you were always like a daddy to me. God had special plans for you and he got one special angel when he choose you. So now you can fly with all the angels because you are one of the best. Rest easy until we meet again. Love always from your step daughter
