Katherine Litton

Katherine Litton, 64, passed away surrounded by love, light, and laughter and Alan Jackson singing the gospel, on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Louisville, Kentucky. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother beloved by her family and friends.

Katherine’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud and loving mother to her three children Mary, Melissa, and Adam, a sister to David Bright, Donna Vogel, and Mary Ann Ritsch; a loving daughter to her parents, Mary Lou and David Bright. Katherine was a cherished grandmother to her eight grandchildren Lilly, Rosie, Bella, Daisy, Mya, Titus, Fern, and Cora. She doted on her family, creating a home filled with warmth and love.

She is preceded in death by her brother Michael Bright.

For nearly 50 years, Katherine was the faithful and loving wife of Moe, her devoted partner in life. Their bond was one of deep love, unwavering support, and a lifetime of shared laughter and joy.

She will be remembered for her open arms, her kindness, and the way she made her family feel special. Her legacy of love will live on in the hearts of those who knew and adored her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A service to honor Katherine’s life will begin at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Katherine will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
