Kathleen Y. Thomas, 91, formerly of Louisville passed away on Monday September 14, 2015 in Grove City, OH. A native of Bardstown she was the former Kathleen Mattingly, a retired telegraph clerk for Western Union, and a member of St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Western Union retirement committee, a former volunteer at SS. Mary & Elizabeth and the Saintly Treasures and the alter society at Most Blessed Sacrament. She was preceded in death by her husband Coleman H. Thomas. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Browning and Frances Corum; sons, Charles M. & Douglas Thomas; brothers, Joseph A. and Marvin J. Mattingly, 8 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. A mass of celebration for Kathleen will be held at 11 am Saturday at St. Peter The Apostle, 5433 Johnsontown Road with burial to follow in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. from 2-8 pm Friday. Memorial gifts may be made to Mass Of The Air.
