

Born to the late John and Daphne Perkins, Kaye is also preceded in passing by her adored husband of 41 years, Randall Blanton.
Here to carry on her memory are her children, Kimberlee Dages (Rick), John Blanton, and Kristi Miller; her grandchildren Michael Kollar (Myranda), Jacob Kollar, Erin McCarthy (John), Scott Travis, Jenna Blanton, Jackson Randall Blanton, Makenzie Dages, Chaz Dages, and Payton Dages; her great-grandchildren Silas and Oliver; her siblings Vikki Silberisen (Jim), John Perkins (Shelia), Deborah Veech (Ray), and Rebecca Clinard (Terry); 16 nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of extended family and friends.
Kaye was born in Australia and came to the United States as a toddler. She became a dedicated Marine Corps wife at age 18, and followed her beloved husband anywhere his career took him. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 28 years of serving as a Mail Processing Clerk. Kaye had contagious laughter and readiness for any adventure. She was a devoted and loving mother, nana, sister and friend. She enjoyed working in her craft room creating ceramics, cards, and other crafts. Kaye was a life-long member of Shively Christian Church, where she enjoyed attending the Lady’s Class.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Kaye’s honor will take place Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be made out to Shively Christian Church to the White Mills Scholarship.
