Kaye Cole Hinson

Kaye is a graduate of Harlan High School and went on to get her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Kentucky. A talented artist, Kaye proudly exhibited her work in Kentucky, Virginia, and Florida. The beauty of nature and the surrounding mountains were a large influence on her style of painting. Her art is characterized by vibrant colors and an expressive, painterly style. Kaye had a kind spirit and was a master gardener. She loved to tend to her gardens.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Cole and Reba Cole. A devoted spouse, Kaye was married for 38 years to her life partner of 40 years, Paul L. Hinson. She is also survived by her children, William Paul Hinson, James Dean Hinson; and an extended host of lifetime friends and cousins.

Cremation services will be provided through Arch L. Heady at Resthaven. A Celebration of Life will be organized for a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Guilda's Club Louisville, or a charity of your choice in Kaye's honor.
