My condolences to Ken's family.  I knew him at Baptist Hospital back in the late 1970s.  He was my supervisor, my mentor and my friend.  Ken was a very respected by all who knew him; intelligent, funny, and dedicated to his profession.  My prayers go out to all who will miss him.

Served with Ken in the Ceremonial Guard, when he arrived in the Guard he was in the bunk beside me and were surprised we were both from Louisville. He also did steam pressing of our uniform at the laundry and fell for one of the young ladies working there. Some time later He taught a computer class that I attended.In the picture of the arrival ceremony of the Russian PM, Ken is the second from the right.

To the family of Ken Bridges, time will heal, remember always when you laugh the most, to get through the days. May God be with you.  I came to MIS in 1994 as a Data Control Clerk. At times I worked with Ken when the system would go down, and had to let JCPS employees we are working on the problem, that was my first day of work there. Last 10 years I got know Ken as a friend, came in my life at the time I needed a friend to talk too. I will miss our talks. Your in good place without any pain, Be in Christ the Lord. Phyllis JCPS

I knew Ken from the early days of computer technology being used at the Jefferson County Board of Education. At that time (late 1960s) we had to devise how to use computers to accomplish the business of JCPS. Ken was a complete and thorough programmer, with a special talent for debugging computer programs. He was a true friend with a quick wit and ever ready to lend a helping hand. I will always remember Ken and those years with great fondness.

My condolences and prayers go to the Bridges family in this sad time.

I didn't get to know Ken as well as many others.  My memories are limited to one trip to Kentucky as a child to see Kenny, and being at Ken's house and playing dress up.  I remember Ken on one side and Kenny on my other, each kissing my cheeks, and feeling like the most pretty and special little girl in the world. Love you Grandpa Ken.

I met Ken over 30 years ago when I began as a new programmer for Jefferson County Public Schools.  He was the manager of the technical group and in truth, as the new kid, I was scared to be around him. To make a long story short, we developed a friendship and he was a true inspiration to my career. He will be missed.  God bless to all his family.
