He was a retired minister for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and pastor for churches in Cynthiana, Crab Orchard and Hardinsburg, KY.
Mr. Stibbins was an US Army vetereran of WW II and a member of Valley View Church for 40 years.
He was preceded in rest by his wife, Mildred Stibbins, and a son, Gary Stibbins.
Mr. Stibbins is survived by a daughter, Brenda Murray (Lynn); a granddaughter, Michelle McCargar (Kevin); a grandson, Justin Stibbins;and two great-granddaughters, Courtney McAlister and Makenzie McCargar.
His funeral will be on Wednesday at noon at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will on Tuesday from 3pm until 8pm.
