Kenny R. Steiger

Kenny R. Steiger, 85, of Louisville, passed away October 7, 2025. He was a member of St. Athanasius Catholic Church and an Army veteran. He retired from L&N Railroad after 40 plus years of service. He loved his family and friends and was an avid University of Kentucky fan. He was a 1958 graduate of Flaget High School.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Edna Steiger; son, Todd Steiger; grandson, Matthew Steiger; and siblings, Joe Steiger, Betty Clark, Bum Steiger, Dave Steiger, and Kathy Steiger. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Pam Dever Steiger; granddaughter, Emiley Steiger(Hannah); grandson, Todd C. Steiger; great-grandchildren, Jolene Elizabeth and Derek Kenneth; siblings, Gary Steiger, Karen Berry(Rick), Sue Spink(Don), Jean Steiger, and Jan Kuntz(Fred); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10am Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 3pm-8pm Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Memorial donations in Kenny's memory can be made to Alzheimer's Association or Hosparus.
