

Kensey attended Columbus College of Art & Design after she graduated from high school.
Kensey was an U.S. Student Embassador for "People to People" and visited Europe in 2004.
She has won many ribbons over the years for horse back riding in 4-H and also won the Ohio Governor's Youth Art Exhibition in 2010.
Kensey had a great passion for art and photography and was so inspired to eventually open her own tatoo parlor and was going to call it "Feel Good Ink".
Kenseys love for animals showed as she had two cats, a dog named Koda and a thorough bred horse named Allie.
Kensey is survived by her loving parents, Steven Anthony and Donna Jean Phillips Bickel; brothers, Jason Bickel and Nathan Bickel; paternal grandparent, Joyce Best; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Ann Phillips; niece, Emma Rae Bickel; several aunts and uncles; and many cousins.
Funeral service to honor the life of Kensey will be 10am on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY, with cremation to follow.
Visitation for the public will be from 1-8pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, 8301 Professional Place, Landover, MD 20785.
Kensey also donated her organs for science research.
