Laurie Clark, 67, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, leaving behind a world made warmer by her presence and a circle of people who were better for knowing her.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Laurie grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, which would always be home. Life took her across the world — from the shores of Greece to the island of Guam, and through various states along the way — but she always found her way back to Louisville. Wherever she was, she brought the same open heart with her, and she never met a stranger. Her faith in Jesus was the quiet anchor of her life. A licensed real estate agent, Laurie brought that same warmth to everything she touched. But her greatest title was the one her family gave her — mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt, friend.
Laurie is survived by her son, Chris Meredith, his wife Rebekah, and their sons Jackson and Declan; her father, Fred Dyne; her sister, Lisa Dyne; and her nieces Briana Cranmer (Scott), and Leighana Jones, (Casey). She was also a great-aunt to Austyn, Kayden, Brayden, and Ace.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Clark, and her mother, Carole Dyne.
She will be deeply missed and long remembered.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 12th, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Antioch Church, 7315 Southside Drive, Louisville, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Antioch Church at antiochpeople.org or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation at msfocus.org.
