Laura Dages Hutchins

She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

Laura was known for her love of music. She enjoyed singing and was known as Ms. Laura throughout Lyndon. Laura was a member of St. Matthews Baptist Church.

She had many friends and will be missed dearly.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Joe Hutchins; children, Wanda Madison (Danny), Jim Meade and Marte Carlisle; grandchildren, Angela (Mike), Elizabeth, Skylar (Jesse), Crystal (Joey), Bradley (Whitni) and Emeralde; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Asher and Rogan; sister, Joan Smith (Don); brother, Frank Cain (Margaret). She is also survived by many step-children, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Friday.

Entombment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to F.E.A.T. of Louisville, Kentucky Humane Society or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
