My dad and I had a difficult relationship. I wish we had gotten to know each other better. My heart and a piece of everything I am is from you.

Larry was an inspiration to me and a joy to be with. He always had a smile and often a new joke to tell. Larry was in my class one year at BSF, and I always asked him ahead of time if there was a specific question he wanted to answer. Of course he couldn't do that but everyone could feel his participation. I would hold the hymnal for him and even though he could not 'sing', the emotion brought about by the hymns was clearly evident on his face. Sometimes there was joy, sometimes tears, but always an ever present love for and devotion to his Father. Larry taught me a lot even though he never spoke a word.
Bonnie, the story of your and Larry's coming together and falling in love is a beautiful one. I hope everyone at his funeral will get to hear at least a part of what true love looks like.

This news brings me a tinge of sorrow that we don't have Larry with us any more ... but a much GREATER JOY that he is with Jesus. Had him in my BSF group years ago, but recall his ever-present smile and corny jokes like it was just last week! His is the most awesome life story I have ever known.
Leap with Jesus, Larry!!
