Lavenna is preceded in death by her parents, Lavenna and Walter Neale; her sisters, Claudia Carby and Patricia Ryman; nephew, Jeffrey Stehlin.
Lavenna is survived by her partner, Vernon S. Broyles III; her daughter, Jessica Constant; grandson, Joshua Hughes.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Vennie will be held Monday, May 11th, 2pm at Highland Presbyterian Church, 1011 Cherokee Rd, Louisville, KY 40204.
Vennie's family would like to thank the wonderful, companionate staff at the Masonic Home for their care of Vennie during her illness.
