Laverne was born in Louisville, KY on April 17, 1919 to the late Andrew and Edna Crull. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee “Bud” Wallis, her grandmother and her cousin.
Laverne’s life work included working and caring for her family farm and her home, in which she took pride in doing.
Survivors include her caregivers Michelle Rogers, Jackie Armstrong and “Aunt” Mary Warford, all whom she loved.
She became a member of their family over the years and was given the title of “the little sister” by Michelle and Jackie. She was dearly loved by all who knew her.

Her funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son, Okolona. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation Friday 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
