DEWALD, LAWRENCE "LARRY" JOSEPH SR., 60, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. Larry was retired from American Standard and the Okolona Fire Department. He was the Crusade Coordinator of the WHAS Crusade for Children for the Okolona Fire department.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Helen Weikel Dewald Sr.; brothers James Dewald and Henry Dewald Jr.
Survivors include his loving wife Theresa Werner Dewald; son Lawrence Dewald Jr. (Jennifer), daughter Jodie Dewald; step-daughter Stephanie Frank (William), stepsons Shawn Bertholf (Rebekah) and Joshua Bertholf; 15 grandchildren.
His funeral service will be noon Tuesday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial: St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation is Monday, 11 a.m-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.
