Lee was an Army veteran of the Korean war.
He retired after 43 1/2 years of service at CSX Railroad and from the Army Reserves.
Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Elzy; sons, Donald Gaddie and David Gaddie; and brothers, Delbert Elzy, Rudolph Elzy, and Gene Elzy.
Lee is survived by his sons, Ray Elzy (Teresa), Rick Elzy (Geri), and Mark Elzy; grandchildren, Erik Elzy (Kelli), Jason Robinson, Kyle Elzy, and Poppy Davis (Roger); 7 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Arthur Elzy (Raymalee) and Donald Elzy.
Lee also leaves behind his close buddy, his dog, Bear.
Funeral service will be noon on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation for the public will be from 1-8pm on Monday at the funeral home.
