She was a native of Pisa, Italy and devoted her life to her family.
Lena is preceded in death by her husband, William Tharp and their daughter, Julie Hytoff-Tharp.
She is survived by her son and devoted caregiver, Victor Tharp (Rebecca)
A celebration of Lena’s life will be conducted at 10 am, Saturday, November 9, 2013 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2-8 pm Friday, November 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
