Lenita A. Brogna

Lenita was a devoted Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She retired from Target after 8 years of service. She enjoyed making blankets for all of her grandchildren and making sure everyone had a new and different ornament each Christmas. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church.

Lenita is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Kenneth Brogna; her sister, Susan Rich; and her parents, Charles and Eunice Francis.

She leaves behind her children: Joan Bateman (Alan), Jean Callaci (Joseph), Michael Moore (Tami), Debbie Moore, and Karen Dixon (Adrian); and her sister, Audrey Townsend (Bob). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of treasured friends.

A visitation for Lenita will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40222.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with Lenita's Celebration of Life service beginning at 2:00 PM.

A graveside service will occur Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, Kentucky 40218, where Lenita will be laid to rest.
