Leonard Cadarette

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Cadarette, and eldest son, Leonard Wayne Cadarette.

Left to cherish his memory are children: Rickey Cadarette (Sherry), Tim Cadarette, Cynthia Cadarette and Aimee Gillespie (Daniel); grandchildren: Matthew Cadarette (Amy), Sarah Lankford (Brian), Amanda Cadarette, Kellie Ghezzi, Clayton Cadarette, Cameron Cadarette, Megan Gillespie and Ian Gillespie; great grandchildren: William Lankford, Conner Cadarette and Lorelai Cadarette.

Leonard was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in the Korean War. He worked for General Electric for 44 years upon his retirement. He loved to fish, garden, and visit with family. Leonard was a member of Hillview Community Christian Church.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40213. The funeral service for Leonard will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Leonard will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery.
