Pete Smith, 86, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky.
A native of Barren County, KY., he was a retired production worker and Union Steward with General Electric.
Pete was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years Myrith (Alloway), brother Gerald E. Smith, sisters, Genetta Lewis and Bernice Gregory.
He is survived by his daughter Kay Smith Snyder, Son-in-law Tawn Snyder, niece Karen Lewis and Nephews Don Allen Lewis, Robert Craig Lewis and Gordon Huff.
A service to honor the life of Pete will be held Thursday, September 9th at 12pm the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 8th from 6-8pm at the funeral home and will resume Thursday at 11am until the start of the service.
