Mr. Cain attended the Kentucky School for the Blind and was retired from the Kentucky Industries for the Blind.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Carlisle (Steve), two granddaughters, Amie Carlisle-Omar and Abigail Carlisle, and also four great-grandchildren along with his brother, Robert Cain, and his two sisters, Verna South and Dottie Morgan.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Cain will be held at 10am on Wednesday, September 5 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 3-8 pm at the funeral home.
