One memory that I have of my Mother is how our mornings were in my childhood. She always woke us up singing. She always sang a song of the season or any happy song. Four kids got up to a massive breakfast every weekday before school. Every day had its own menu. Pancakes, eggs and "oven toast", waffles, oatmeal, eggs and biscuits with gravy. This is how we were sent off to school.  A happy Mother, smiling with good wishes for the day, lunch prepared, or change for school lunch. Happy days!

So very sorry to just hear about Mrs Jarboe’s passing. Having grown up next door to the Jarboe family, they were a big presence in my life growing up. So sorry I wasn’t aware in time to make the visitation to pay my respects and to have the opportunity to see her family. Know that my family has always thought highly of yours and we are saddened to hear of her death.
A particular memory was when Mrs Jarboe was passing popsicles out to children she was sitting for after school and included the Schneid kids over the fence. One of the kiddos who was in her care was a classmate of mine at Wilkerson.

Just happened upon this obituary. Sorry our condolences are so late. Our hearts go out to Lee.
Great neighbors are a gift.  The Jarboe clan fit the bill. 
The fence line had fewer weeds when Lynn and I got to talking while I was at the task. Sure enjoyed her company anytime she was free.
The entire family has our deepest sympathy.

I have been struggling to find something to say about my Mommaw’s passing.  I know there are no amount of words that can describe how amazing of a person and grandmother she was.  My mommaw instilled a lot of good qualities in me , most of all compassion, kindness, and love. She truly was one of a kind.  I will forever cherish everything she taught me and the memories we had together, from my annual happy birthday phone call to sitting around her kitchen table eating Mike Linings’s and of course our family gatherings.  I’m extremely heartbroken that she is no longer with us but it does ease my mind that she is keeping my sister company.   I am very lucky to have had her as long as I did but you always just want five more minutes.  Rest in peace mommaw, I will miss you so much.  I love you. ❤️

My Mammaw will be missed more then words can possibly express. She made me the women and mother that I am today. My love of gardening, cooking, and family come from her incredible example. My children are loved deeply, encouraged to explore and learn, as well as nurtured in every way because I received these things, as did so many children, from my Mommaw, Lynn Jarboe. Her spirit will live on in all of us. Rest peacefully Mommaw. ❤️

Lynn (Mother) was also preceded in death by her Mother (Grace Ham), Father (Cliff Ham), and Sister (Shirley Ham). She was a Kindergarten Teacher at Ridgewood Baptist Church for 18 years, and she loved every minute of it. She also loved her ceramics group. She made all of us beautiful things that we cherish to this day. Dad (Lee), lovingly cared for her for the last several years. He did an amazing job, and never left her side.  Lynn loved her family around her, and loved to cook for them. She was an amazing cook. When the four of us children were small, everywhere Mother went, we went. She never left the house without all of us trailing along. She was so excited to have Grandchildren, and then Great-Grandchildren. She loved every one of them, and couldn't wait for them to visit, especially on the holidays. We will miss her especially at those times.
