Lillian Semar Miracle, 81, of Louisville passed away on April 11, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 29, 1929 to the late William Henry and Rose Gross Nuckles. She was retired from Schenley’s Distillery and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, St. Cecilia Catholic Church, St. Patrick Catholic Church, Our Lady and St. Augustine.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Miracle; a daughter, Janet Semar and a son, Herbert Semar.
She is survived by her loving children, Rose Jacobs, Sharon Lutgring, Diane Lynn Williams, Theresa Ernest, Ruth Turner, Pamela Scott, Michael Semar, Gerald L. Semar, John Semar; and many many grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
A mass of Christian burial will be conducted at Noon on Friday April 15, 2011 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 212 Mount Mercy Drive in Pewee Valley with burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Thursday April 14, 2011 at Arch L. Heady & Son, 7410 Westport Road.
