Margaret was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxillary.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 32 years, Buck Burgess; children, Donna Minks (Raymond), Sharon White (Fred), Joseph "Shorty" Thompson (Patty), Mary Robinson (Kenneth), Steve Burgess (Josey), Mark Burgess (Evelyn), Nick Burgess (Jackie), Mike Burgess, and Brian Burgess; step-children, Sam Price (Corine), Mary Thompson, Barbara North, and Linda "Marlene" Little (Ira); sisters, Marie Mahoney, Sue Chesser (Buddy), Patricia McCarthy, and Sheila Kidwell; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service to honor the life of Margaret will be 10am on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, with interment to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central.
Visitation for the public will be from 1-8pm on Saturday and from 12-8pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
