Linda Jo Cook

Linda was born November 23rd, 1949, to the late Joe Roscoe Craig and Lola Mae (Elliott) Craig. Linda was a member of Good Shepherd Church, where she served as an usher, welcoming new and old members. She worked as a Hostess at Shoney's Restaurant and Jerry's Restaurant for over 30 years, as well as Floor and Kitchen Manager she was known to her friends and customers as Cookie and Linda never met a stranger. In Linda's spare time she loved to play bingo with her family and friends.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Roscoe and Lola Mae Craig; sister's, Mary, Ann ,Carolyn, Brenda; and brother Leon Craig.

Linda is survived by and leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years, Gerald "Jerry" Cook; her children, Duane (Heather) Cook, Cathy (Terry); and grandchildren, Brayden, Hailey, Makayla, Tabitha and Keira; two - sister's, Cynthia and Debbie (Tommy); two special niece's, Lola King and Kimberly Craig; a host of niece's, nephew's; and many friends Judy Carol and Missy.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. at Arch L Heady and Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel. Linda will be laid to rest at a later date in the Garden of Angels of Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Hour of 4:00 p.m. also at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel.
