Mrs. Winstead was preceded in death by her son Troy B. Darst.
Linda is survived by her husband of 24 years, C. Melvin Winstead, a son Christopher Darst, a granddaughter, Hannah Walker, and 6 step-children.
A celebration of Mrs. Winstead’s life will be conducted Thursday, January 30th, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29th, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
