Born in Louisville, Linda worked for many years as a hairdresser.
She was preceded in death by her husband Cornelius Yates; step-son Dale Yates; mother Elizabeth Phillips, and step-father Joseph Phillips, Jr. Survivors include her daughter Elizabeth Miotke (Zachary); brother, Joey Phillips III; grandchildren, Abigail Hill (Jakob), Isabella Chaney, Gracie Chaney, and Zoey Miotke; great-grandchildren, Skarlett and Atreus; several nieces and nephews; and many loved friends.
Cremation was chosen, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
