Lois went by many names. Some of her family called her Jean. Some of her family called her Aunt Jean. She was also Lois to some of her friends and family. To her early friends she was called Queenie. She was Mom, Mamaw, sister, cousin, Mrs. Erb; all the names were one person. A good person that made everyone feel like they were special. She was a master story teller. She was an avid reader, superior intellect and brilliant conversationalist. She truly loved the people in her life and cherished every friendship like a rare jewel; she cared.
She was a member of Crescent Hill Baptist Church for over fifty years. Owned and ran the Corner Grocery in the Kentucky Towers for fifteen years. She sold tickets at the Crescent Art Theater for years. She was a devoted and loved wife, Mother and grandparent.
She had valiantly fought the symptoms of a stroke since October 25, 2009. She was a strong person with a spirit to match. She will be missed.

Erb, two grandsons Eric Erb of Charlotte NC, Jeremy Erb (Granddaughter-in law Kerri Erb) and great granddaughter Scarlett Erb of Wilmington NC, her brother Kyle Lindsey and his wife Nancy of Jacksonville Fl, niece Laura Jones of Lambertville NJ and nephews Keith Erb and Steve Erb of St. Louis MO.
