She was born to the late Betty and Perry Hardin in 1947. Lois is preceded in death by siblings and grandson, Willie Darnell.
Lois was a talented dancer. Her family loved to watch her dance and even danced around the house with her. She was a caregiver, she had a passion in helping others and strived to life life to the fullest. Lois's family would call her "Superwoman" as she danced through life fighting Alzheimer's for 17 years.
Here to carry on her memory are her children; Tammy Darnell (Lee) and Nicole Burton, grandchildren; Brandon (Angela) and Kendra (Troy), great-grandchildren; Makayla, Austin, Mariah, Jayden, Tre, Tyler, and siblings; Sharon and Donald.
A celebration of Lois's life will take place at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, beginning at 2:00pm. Visitation will take place from 11:00am - 2:00pm at the funeral home.
Lois will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218.
