He is preceded in death by his father, Russel Hance; sister, Judy Haas; and his niece, Sarah Haas.
Lonnie was an avid sports fan. He ran track at Eastern High School and was an All American & SCC Champ for the University of Tennessee. Lonnie was also a huge U of L fan.
Lonnie is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Mary Hance; mother, Sarah “Sally” Hance; son, Lonnie Hance, Jr.; daughter, Erin Hance; brother, David Hance (Len); granddaughters, Kaylee & Ariana.
A funeral mass to honor the life of Lonnie will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (3521 Goldsmith Lane, Louisville, KY 40220), visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of mass. Lonnie will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Lonnie may be made to the Susan G. Komen Fund.
