Loraine S. Hawkins, 73, of Louisville passed away May 14, 2012 at Franciscan Health Care. She was born on September 6, 1938 to the late Delmar and Edna Saltkill. She was a retired surgical technician with Baptist East Hospital.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Walter; and a sister, Bernice.
She is survived by her loving husband, Buddy Hawkins; children, Steve Hawkins, Bill (Donna) Hawkins, Terry (Gail) Woodard and Leah Lee; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be conducted at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
