Lore Mauriello

Lore Mauriello, age 95, died peacefully on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in Fort Myers, Florida. She was born on February 3, 1928 in Heidelberg, Germany. She Married Nick Mauriello and traveled the world as an American soldier's wife. They settled with her family in Louisville to raise their daughter with her parents and both sisters who had immigrated to Louisville from Heidelberg. Lore was an active member of the German American club since 1969.

Lore is Preceded in death by her husband, Nick; parents, Georg and Erna Reiter; sisters, Ingerborg Holl and Helga Schreck.

Left to Cherish her memory is her daughter, Rene Mauriello; granddaughter, Karmen "Nikki" Gosney (don); great-grandchildren, Hunter Bronke, Logan Bronke and Brianna Mann (Connor); great-great-great-grandchild, River Mann; two step-great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, 2pm, December 11, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky. A reception will follow at the German American Club, 1840 Lincoln Avenue, 40213.
