Lorene Colson, 93, of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, previously of Mt. Washington, KY, went home peacefully to be with Jesus, with her family by her side, on October 11, 2015. Lorene was truly an incredible woman of God, who lived her life in service to others. She will be greatly missed.
She was a wife to the late John Colson, and is survived by her four children and their spouses; Ron and Marilyn Ford of AZ, Bobby and Loretta Ford of KY, Donna and Jim Hart of KY, and Darryl and Robin Colson of FL; 2 brothers and their wives, Paul and Bobbi Moser of GA , and Jerry and Barbara Moser or FL. Lorene was a wonderful grandmother to her 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who also survive her.
A Life Celebration will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends for visitation will be on Friday from 11a-2p at the funeral home.
