Smith, Lorraine, 93, passed away on October 20, 2014. Lorraine was a loving and strong willed person, who could be stubborn at times. She was an avid bingo player and could be found every Wednesday night at Our Mother of Sorrow with her green dobber. Lorraine loved her dog, Missy and her birds, Mickey and Minnie. She retired from Brown & Williams after 25 years of service to care for her husband, Arthur.
Preceding her in death was her loving husband of 67 years, Arthur and children, Dolly Rogers, Edward Rogers, Georgia Lovette, George Lovette, and Virginia Heath.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sue (Tony) Smith and Walter Lewis Smith; 16 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 15 great, great grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Osting; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 pm and Friday 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
