Louis Hansen Burden, 84, of Louisville was born on May 25, 1932 in Beaver Dam Kentucky to the late Wavy and Lillie (Butler) Burden, and passed from this life on March 25, 2017. He was a retired employee for Brown & Williamson, a longtime member of Shively Baptist Church, an Army veteran, and a active member of the Alumni Association of Campbellsville University where he attended college. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Peggy Jo Burden. Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Allison Burden (Gregory Workman); and a granddaughter, Grace Renee Workman. A service to celebrate Mr. Burden’s life will be held at 10 am on Thursday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Bethany Cemetery.
