

Louise M. Pigram (Benton), age 95, passed away peacefully while being visited and comforted by loving family members on Nov. 26, 2014. She was born in Corydon, IN. to the late George and Gertrude Benton. During WWII she worked at the Quarter Master in Jeffersonville, IN. She later married and devoted her life to family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Allie Pigram; son, Bobby Pigram; grandchildren, Becky, twin infants Nicholas and Travis Pigram. Left to cherish her memory are her children, James Pigram (Alice Filiatreau), Ronn Pigram, Carol Hoferkamp, Terry Pigram (Ann), Tom Pigram ( Carmen), Mark Pigram (Tim Armour), and Glenda Pigram (Matt Fenner); 8 grandchildren; Dacia Croot, Will Hoferkamp, Leah Pigram, Sarah Walker, Mandy Minzenberger, Heather, Justin and Ashley Pigram and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4-8p.m, Thursday, Dec. 4 with A Celebration of Life Ceremony at noon on Friday, Dec. 5. All services will occur at Evergreen Funeral Home. The family wants to give special thanks to Betty Browning and Dr. Shannon Lynn for their care. Memorial donations may be directed to Home of the Innocents or The Center for Women and Families.
