He was a graduate of Seneca High School and University of Louisville. Lowery had a career in HR at Reliance Universal, Fisher Packing/ Wilson Foods and Viskase. He loved sailing on Lake Michigan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Polly Stallings, and his sister, June Stallings Lloyd.
Lowery is survived by his wife of 59 years, Becky Pettit Stallings and their children, Lowery Stallings Jr. (Sheri) and Stephanie Stallings Mork (Randy). Grandchildren, Andria Stallings, Rachael Mork, Sarah Mork Peshel (Devin) and Isaiah Mork. He is also survived by a great-grandson, Soren Peshel.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Lowery's life will be conducted at 1:00PM on Friday, November 24, 2023 at New Life Church, 3402 Goose Creek Rd. Louisville KY 40241. Guests are invited to attend a visitation after 10AM Friday until service time.
