She was a member of Eastern Parkway Baptist Church and a retiree of Kraft foods.
Lucille is preceded in death by her husbands: Robert Childers and Francis Phillips, siblings: Margie Ulrich, Gracie Butler, Morine Smith, James Embry and Dewey Embry.
She is survived by her children: Herbert Phillips (Linda) and Richard Phillips (Margaret), siblings: Pauline Smith, Lois Ashlock, Leonard Embry and Lowell Embry, grandchildren: Patrick Shawn Phillips and Richard Craig Phillips. Lucille is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A funeral service to celebrate Lucille’s life will be conducted at 12 noon on Monday, March 9, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Sunday, March 8, 2015 and after 9am the day of the funeral.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Eastern Parkway Baptist Church in Louisville, KY or The New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Baizetown KY.
