Lucy was a native of Mt Vernon, KY and a retired employee for the State of Alabama Highway dept.
She was a member of Southeast Christian Church and was a “June Taylor Dancer” and traveled with the old Jackie Gleason Show.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Suzie Shafitz: and her daughter and her partner, Suzanne Alexander and Ruth Purkis.
Memorial service 3:00 p.m. Sunday at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road.
Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.
