

Lucy was a truly unique, loving, and talented woman. Her hobbies were knitting, weaving, crochet, embroidery, and working in her yard and garden. Her greatest joy was helping and doing for others. Her gifts of handmade quilts weaved rugs, crocheted or embroidery items, or something she canned from her garden were always treasured gifts. These were all made with tender loving care.
Lucy retired from Philip Morris with 30 years of service and was a member of Fern Creek United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Gerald D. Grimm, parents; James and Sophie Robertson, brother; Billy Robertson, and sisters; Nancy Robertson and Jean Hall.
Left to cherish the memory of Lucy are her son; Maurice Grimm (Eva), 3 grandchildren; Daina Wilson (Jeff), Tricia Meredith (Ronnie), and Chris Grimm (Susan), 7 great-grandchildren; Nicholas, Taylor, Ben, Cole, Cheyenne, Megan, and Bailee, 2 brothers; Hubert Robertson and Joe Robertson, 2 sisters Peggy Moore (Clay) and Barbara Carrillo (Pete), and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of the Alzheimer's unit at Elmcroft in Mt. Washington for their dedicated and loving care of Lucy for the past 4 years. Also to the Green meadows Nursing Home for their recent loving care and support.
Services to remember the life of Mrs. Lucy Grimm will be held at Evergreen Funeral Home on Thursday at Noon with visitation from 2-8pm Wednesday and Thursday from 9-12 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Fern Creek United Methodist Church or Charity of your choice.
