She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Highview Recreation Club, Watterson Trail Church of Christ, and she was a scorekeeper at Highview Park for many years.
She is survived by 2 sons, Terry W. Rapier (Michelle) and Ralph M. Rapier (Dianne); 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Leslie), Jared, Jonathan, and Justin; and 3 great-grandchildren, Corbyn, Aly, and Jaxon.
Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, followed by burial at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday, October 26, 2012.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Caretenders and to Jeffrey and Leslie Rapier who were her loving caregivers.
