Lyda Kathleen Babb, 71, of Louisville passed away on Thursday December 9, 2021. She was born on February 20, 1950 in Louisville to the late Wilkes R. and Wanita (Loofbourrow) Babb. She was a retired school teacher of the Jefferson County Schools, a member of the KY Retired Teachers Association, Daughters of the American Revolution; faithful member of the order of the Eastern Star Middletown Chapter for 39 years; and a member of Resurrection Episcopal Church. She leaves behind many friends and family who loved her deeply. Funeral service for Kathleen will be held at noon on Tuesday with burial to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 2:30-7 pm on Monday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Memorial gifts may be made to her church or the KY Humane Society.
