He was co-owner of the Two Trades Plumbing and did commercial development. Lyle was a past vice-president of Louisville Apartment Association, a member of Pleasure Valley Lions Club. He partnered in many commercial ventures.
Mr. Weatherholt was preceded in rest by his father, Bernard Weatherholt.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah; two daughters, Tammy Clayton and Amy Hoover (Dan); grandchildren, Jordyn Clayton, Jonathan and Jacob Hoover, Jessica Frech, Michael Vannatta, Christopher Clayton and Jennifer Pierce; many great-grandchildren; his mother, Lillian Weatherholt; a brother, Lloyd Weatherholt (Sandy); and three sisters, Jan Freeman, Mary McFarlan (Bill) and Annette Despenette (Rick).
His funeral will be on Thursday at 10am at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm.
