

Lynn was the President / CEO of Class Act Federal Credit Union. She considered the Board, Staff, and Members of Class Act Federal Credit Union a part of her extended family. Lynn served on several Boards including the Jefferson County Public Education Foundation Board and Kentucky Credit Unions Board. Lynn was also inducted into the Jeffersontown High School Hall of Fame.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Mattox, her step-mother, Jeanette Mattox, and Father-in Law, David Thompson (Gail).
Lynn is survived by her partner of 19 years and husband of one day, Jim Thompson, children, Jonathan Huether (Katie), Joel Huether, Phillip Thompson (Emily), Andrea Bates (Casey), Father, Henry Mattox, Mother-in-Law, Ruth Ann Thompson, siblings, Linda Mattox, Janice Ashby (Dale), Sherry Poppe (Ted), Mike Thompson (Penny), Stephen Ravenscroft (Shannon), Ricky Vester,(Kat), Rusty Vester (Rhonda) and Randi Vester. Lynn is also survived by two grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 1-8 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 and Wednesday, October 15, 2025 from 9-10 am at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville KY 40218. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery.
