Mandy was born on April 14, 1922 in Savannah, GA, to Charles and Verda Grace DuPree Roberts, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband of 59 years, Charles “Chuck” Dancinger.
Mandy was a homemaker, but also was known as a coach to many local high school bowling teams in the area. She was also an honorary member of “The Mermaids” at the Crescent Hill Bubble Pool.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Nancy) Dancinger; grandson, Jeffrey (Leigh) Dancinger; granddaughter, Jill (Aubrey) Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Kendra Dancinger, Grant Dancinger, Megan Johnson, Lauren Johnson, and Tiffany Johnson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel located at 4400 Bardstown Road on Thursday, March 24, at 2:00PM. Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Entombment will be at Resthaven Memorial Park.
